Vitamins are classified into fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins.
- Water-soluble vitamins include B group vitamins and Vitamin C. They must be supplied regularly in the diet because they are readily excreted in urine and cannot be stored easily in our body.
- However, Vitamin  (cyanocobalamin) is an exception. Even though it is water-soluble, it is not excreted easily and can be stored in the liver for several months or years.
